About Me

Welcome! My name is Phillip Shrier (John is my first name, but only telemarketers call me that). 

I currently live in a cute little town in South Carolina. I haven't lived in SC long but I get the sense that this state is made up mostly of cute little towns. Mine is Hartsville, SC. 

As for my family, I have been married for 16 years to my love, Rachel.  We have 3 children, two girls (12 and 10) and a boy (8). Although our we have spent most of our married life in Nashville, Tennessee, we just returned from a 2 year assignment in Azerbaijan where I taught 5th and 6th grade at a school for English speaking children. 

I live my passion everyday as the Director of Operations at a local charter school in the town in which I live.

As for hobbies, with three kids in the house, my hobbies include Minecraft and American Girl dolls (favorites of my children). Other than that, my wife and I like to play volleyball and watch "The Incredible Dr. Pol" on Disney+.
